After a revolutionary 2019 season, in which entries rose by no less than twenty percent and races were consistently incredible to watch, everybody is eagerly looking forward to 2020. Gilles Debrus, Cédric Bollen and Sébastien Kluyskens, last year’s champions, are saying goodbye to their famous #277. However, they have found a solution to defend their title!
The reigning champions will once again have to battle against the opposition from DRM Motorsport, Milo Racing, Comtoyou Racing, Acome Racing, Allure Team... Those teams are not only fighting for the overall classification: the Fun category is reserved for line-ups without Top Gun driver (the best drivers in the championship) and the Pure division was created for drivers with mainly the VW Fun Cup as experience.
Carpass LRE by DRM will defend its fourth Two-seater title this season and will not only have to perform on track. The goal is also to have as many passengers as possible on board during the races.

The race tracks
A varied and balanced calendar
The VW Fun Cup powered by Hankook displays starting grids of at least 35 cars at each race and offers a lot of fun on and off track. Organizer Kronos Events ensures the amusement in the paddock, with a qualifying game at five out of seven races and a party at the start of every weekend.
In 2020, the racing beetles are once again competing at six different tracks. The 2019 season starts in Mettet when spring starts and finishes at Zolder in the middle of Octobre, but the competitors are presented with a varied and balanced program.
The Hankook 25 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will remain the signboard for one of the most accessible motorsport championships in the world, were sport and fun are key words.
This time, the championship promotor is opting for continuity in its calendar, with the TT Circuit in Assen, a race at the Spa-Francorchamps race track to prepare the 25 Hours, the challenging French race track of Magny-Cours and, last but not least, Zandvoort. As Formula One is returning to the Dutch coast, the race track has undergone a major transformation and will put the VW Fun Cup to the test even more. Let the battle begin!
